Agriturismo L'assiolo cultivates a wide range of fresh organic produce. We specialise in olives and olive oil and have over 2,000 olive trees. With around 500 orange trees, we also produce organic oranges. Our large vegetable garden also provides us with a wide range of other fruits and vegetables including tomatoes, aubergines (egg-plants), artichokes, apricots and cherries to name but a few.

We pride ourselves on the fact that our produce is grown organically and that we never use chemical or artificial means to cultivate our land. By doing this we can sustain our environment as well as maintaining our agricultural traditions.

Our agriturismo is also home to a range of animals including hens (who produce organic eggs for us), sheep and lambs, a couple of donkeys, a horse and a whole host of farm cats. Let's not forget our faithful and friendly dogs also.

Set amongst a beautiful forest and against the impressive 'San Giuliano' lake, our agriturismo also offers a great stay for fishermen or those who simply wish to explore the beautiful countryside on foot or by bicycle (which we can lend). What's more, this area is a protected wildlife zone which offers bird-watchers and nature-lovers many wonderful sights.
